A couple of photos from Lorna Jackson's launch of Cold-cocked: on Hockey at Bolen's Books in Victoria last Monday. There's another floating around, Lorna with Marty the Marmot, the Victoria Salmon Kings' mascot, which only proves we'll do next to anything to sell books. Though it seems to have added to the show: free hockey tickets and fan merchandise, hockey trivia, with Tim Lilburn walking away with some of the free tickets. A good time, as they say, was had by all.Looks like Lorna will be on CBC's Q October 15th, which will be the first national exposure for this book. Hopefully much more to follow.
